The forks extend from 9.4″ to 33.9″ so you can choose just the right size for roasting over the campfire or the BBQ. The forks and handles are made of stainless steel, but heat from the fire will not be transferred to your hand thanks to the PVC cushion grips covering the handles. The safety caps will protect the fork while not in use and protect you from getting poked. Great set, but be very careful. They will need some filing!! These telescopic campfire forks are quite nice. They come in a wonderful carry case, so that you can put them right in your bag for camping, the beach or your peeps backyard bbq.Â
EXACTLY what I was looking for! My husband and I love to host bonfires in the Fall. We have 3 acres of wooded property and there is always brush and branches that need cleaning up, so it’s a good way to be social and get work done around the yard at the same time. The telescopic metal core colapses for easy, compact storage and can be extended to reach almost 40″ from handle to tip, keeping my family a safe distance from the fire. They retract to 9.4″ for convenient, compact storage. The sharp tips have removable red covers to prevent anything from getting poked, or punctured, making them easy to toss in with my gear.
