a paper towel and you’re good I put a paper towel on the side without the tangs. it keeps pressure on the eggs, and acts as a quick sponge to soak up any leakage from broken eggs. and it’s easily replaced.

Stansport 12-Egg Plastic Camping Case (Black) This is the same plastic egg holder that has been sold for decades by Coghlan’s in yellow plastic. Black will get a little hotter in the sun. Otherwise they are identical. Both are fine. Take your pick.Nice handy little egg carrier. Better protection for raw eggs than carrying them in the grocery store cardboard or styrofoam package. Somebody posted this did not work with Large eggs, but I have not found a problem.I add a big rubber band around these as a backup ‘lock’ to prevent it popping open by accident. These are also available from Coghlan’s in a 12, 6 and even 2-egg size.Hope this is helpful. Happy trails, everybody.
