5 star tarp but… Have not used this in the field as yet, just opened, inspected and repacked. I purchased the 10’x13′ primarily for boat camping on the British Columbia coast to replace blue tarps, but it’s light and compact enough for group backpacking trips. Looks to be very well designed and crafted. Very nice reinforcing, anodized aluminum rings at 8 primary tie points, edge reinforcement trimming, flawless stitching. The online pic of it laying flat is unflattering, doesn’t look like it would pull…
Well made tarp. Stuff bag could be bigger. Well satisfied with this tarp. Big, tough and well made. I would give it a fifth star if it was easier to fit into the stuff bag. Difficult to do in a campsite.I used small bungee’s on the guys and it made for a smoother pitch, especially when it was windy. I also put a small biner on the center tab and it made it easier to hang on a ridgeline and keep it off the ground during set up. Five Stars Great tarp for the price point. One thing I would change is heavier tie down straps.
