The Blue Ridge Camping Hammock by Lawson Hammock is a unique, hybrid tent-hammock that has been rated #1 on the market by leading publications like Backpacker and Outside. It was recently the recipient of the prestigious Gear Of The Year Award by 50 Campfires. The patented design allows for use suspended, as a hammock, or on the ground, as a tent, greatly increasing camping terrain options that are often limited by the type of shelter you’re using. The spreader bar and arch pole system also keeps the bed of the hammock flatter and more taut, eliminating much of the uncomfortable “cocoon” and “banana” effect created by most hammocks. The Blue Ridge Camping Hammock has attached bug netting and a rainfly that attaches directly to the hammock, so no need for additional trees for tying off a tarp or staking. Without the arch poles it can be used as an “”open/regular”” hammock for lounging in the sun. Lightweight, easy to set up and perfect for all types of camping or anyone looking for a comfortable, bug/water proof place to relax or sleep. Very roomy interior; bed of hammock is approx. 90″”x42″”. Weight capacity 275 lbs. Elevate your camping game with a Lawson Hammock!

Best Sleep on a Campsite This is my first time using a hammock for sleep and at a campsite. Have to summarize and say it was absolutely epic to be off the ground and to see the stars and fireflies as you’re falling asleep. Took a few hours to fall asleep and get over the excitement. My friends slept on the ground and definitely wanted one after a wet and hard sleep on the ground. I did not need level ground and there was a tree stump right below me.

QUIT LOOKING.. JUST BUY THIS ONE… YEAH.. Forget any other hammock for camping, nothing beats the Lawson. I am a big Guy 6’1″ and 280 and Its perfect for me. Taller Guys will have no problem. The way the rain fly integrates is second to none. and the view looking up through the canopy at the stars is absolutely stunning. Its stable when you sleep, I even found myself rolling on my side and while it will tilt to an angle its not extreme, and you don’t feel like your going to flip or fall out . Is it slightly more expensive than other hammocks, sure, However this is one of the time when you really get what you pay for.
