Tired of insects making a meal of you at night, buzzing in your ear and disrupting your sleep? Byer of Maine’s improved Moskito Kakoon hammock is just what you’re looking for. We have integrated a bug netting fine enough to thwart even the smallest No See Ums. The hammock itself is made from uncoated heavy-duty parachute nylon with triple stitching and reinforced hanging points that support up to 275lbs. You can increase comfort by using the provided spreader bars, designed to lift and separate the netting. We’ve also included two pockets that can hold a cell phone or flashlight, or anything else you’d want close to hand. Hammock measures 116″L x 56″ W, and weighs 22oz total.

Product Features

  • Stop bathing in bug spray and get a peaceful night’s sleep with our Moskito Kakoon mosquito net hammock. Newly designed, it provides an extra eight inches, reinforced hanging point and triple stitching to bring the weight limit up to 275 lbs.
  • We’ve also redesigned the netting spreader bars poles so they break down, making packing the hammock into its own stuff sack easier and smaller.
  • The hammock is made with uncoated heavy-duty parachute nylon fabric, making it flexible and soft.
  • Don’t worry about this hammock flipping on you; it’s perfectly stable, particularly when you lay diagonally, the Brazilian way.
  • Setup is easy and intuitive. Refer to instructions for full details.

Excellent choice Great option, my kid loved it for his first hammock camping outing last weekend in Zion National Park. Get some good straps to hang with. A small tent-like pole was included for the netting, but I elected to just cinch it up with a small piece of tent rope. This will work great for our trip into the Boundary Waters in July/mosquito season. Also, a note of advice — if it will be at all cold out when you plan to sleep in this hammock — get some extra insulation to place underneath you as you…

Best price & function of all hammocks. My 21 YO son loved the quick set up and integrated mosquito netting. He got no bites in the Everglades. This hammock had the best price & reviews of every one I researched. I purchased with the Foxelli Hammock straps XL $11.77. No problems holding his 175#.
