What I have found is that it’s actually most comfortable when it is reasonably full I’ve had this pack for about a year and a half. It’s my first “real” hiking pack that was big enough for more than a day hike. I took it on an overnight trip last month, and about 20+ day hikes since I bought it. Epic daypack bag 🙂 I love this pack.This was the second pack I bought from Teton.My primary use for this pack is as an extended daypack or winter daypack.Keep in mind, that the internal frame is a plastic TPU sheet. That being said, under heavy load it can and will bend/flex. The only problem with this setup is a load greater than around 20lbs.
