good idea but needs some work this review is based on one use on my subaru crosstrek, one night in lousy weather (rained pretty much the whole time, not heavy, but steady).The tent comes in a drawstring bag which is kind of light weight along with enough small metal stakes for all the stake down points (7? I think). The rainfly comes in a plain clear plastic bag, no drawstring or way to close it, along with enough stakes to tie it down.The solid material area of the tent (and rainfly) is pretty thin,…

best for what it does I looked around to find something that could be added to the back of my 2010 Honda Odyssey which could be setup quickly. The TailVeil only takes me about 5 minutes to assemble. Overall, there is nothing better on the market for me. I took off 1 star for no internal support at the back of the tent. I just wish I could turn on the car with the tent attached and open and close the rear tailgate remotely without catching the tent in the tailgate. I’m working on those 2 issues and will edit my…

Beautifully made, but not very helpful in my case. Although this product is very well made, it did not work well for me. I bought this to put on the back of the galley of my teardrop camper to give protection in case of rain and wind. The biggest disappointment is that when you close the hatch there is nothing holding up the tent. This is a deal breaker for me because I always close the hatch at night and when away from the camper. Also, because there are no poles, the amount of usable space is very small because of the lack of ceiling height…
