Pretty good slab jerky! For the price this is a pretty decent buy. Compared to similar slab Jerky that weighs way less and cost way more. I’ve always been a big fan of slab jerky, this is totally not for everyone. People who like moist and easy to chew jerky should look elsewhere cause this is more traditional which means it’s way tougher than the jerky you can buy at your local grocery.
Best Jerky Money Can Buy I have been ordering this jerky since they stopped selling it at the NEX a few years back. It is the absolute best. Nothing – no Jack Links or Oberto comes even close to the quality. People’s Choice is really in another category of beef jerky. Why?- Flavor is just right. You never get tired or bored of it. People see me eating it and, at first, talk a little smack and then ask for some because it looks good. The next thing I know, they’re asking me for it every time I see them. Now I just leave People’s Choice at home. (It’s not cheap.) The hot and spicy flavor is actually hot – really hot.- Texture is thin but extremely chewy – not like gold, dry steak i.e. Jack Links, etc – but perfect ration of moisture for jerky with a little fat. End product is something that takes the right amount of effort to eat. It’s not just food. It’s something that kind of keeps you occupied.
