CONDOR TOOL & KNIFE traces its proud history back to 1787, the year GERB WEYESBERG COMPANY was founded in Solingen, Germany. The quality of the swords, military knives, agricultural tools and household cutlery they manufactured made Solingen the cutlery capital of the world. Over the generations, the world’s largest manufacturer of swords and knives found it necessary to expand operations to other countries to better serve its customers. In 1964, the company formed IMACASA with a new plant in Santa Ana, El Salvador and filled it with state of the art German equipment. Some of the original local employees who were sent to Solingen for extensive training forty years ago are still working in the factory today, turning out the finest quality machetes, shovels and other hand tools.

Great Knife and Awesome Price ! This blade has a little more heft than expected and a little on the large side for a bushcraft knife. It’s a beautiful blade and very sharp out of the box. The sheath is a very nice thick leather. I have not yet put this through the ultimate outdoor tests yet but so far I love this thing and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great quality bushcraft knife. Also, considering this knife is barely $50, I have to say it’s a steal.
Must have. Wow great knife! I own tons of knives. This knife has the look and feel of a custom. This is my first condor purchase and most certainly not my last. The knife came sharp, perfect bevel, sexy wooden scales, and a stout tip. 33$ what can go wrong. In my opinion the sheath alone is worth the price of the knife. Very well made double stitched with a nice welt. If you want the look and feel of a custom but don’t want to sell your left kidney? Than this is it. I will be ordering the mini…
Really outstanding value. I reduced the palm swell for a personal fit. Takes a “tree topping” edge quickly. Holds a shaving edge quite well, and a working edge quite well, too. Design is of the somewhat generic bushcraft type, pretty well constructed (Condor sheaths are gorgeous, too), and at a great price point. Highly recommended, even if you want to mod it to fit your needs. I find myself reaching for this before my Esee’s or Barkies.
