Set up with care. Waterproof the fly. Pretty happy with this hammock. It was nice and easy to set up. After using the anchor lines to keep it upright it was easy to get in and out of. Nice deep pocket leaves a lot of room for movement. Because of this the hammock does need to be hung high. After leaving it out overnight in a heavy rain I did notice that there was a little water penatration on the flap, which i’m going to waterproof. Another moisture issue was due to me not fastening the fly ends beyond the end knots on the hammock…
Pretty satisfied customer! I’m only giving this four stars because the black hammock part stretched as I slept in it. For the future I would tighten the hammock between the trees considerably. Make sure to follow the directions and hang it higher than you think you would need it. Other than that this is a well made hammock with well made accessories. Definately worth the price! Will be buying a second one for my partner!
Great buy for the price Used it on a 1-week camping trip. I’m 6′ 1″, 175 lbs. I slept very comfortably. Temps dropped to 40 F at night. I used a thin foam sleeping pad and 30 degree bag. It is stable and spacious enough that I was able to change clothes sitting inside it, no problem. Huge bonus that it comes with webbing straps and carabiners. Didn’t rain, so I can’t say for sure how it would perform, but the rain fly fits well and seems pretty solid.
