Very Easy Setup! This thing is easy to set up! Read the instructions! Don’t listen to complaining reviews, obviously these people can’t wipe their ass without assistance. I put this canopy up in 10min in 20 knot winds! It stayed up and blocked the blowing sand. Awesome product. This is my little piece of heaven right here.
All You Can Rationally Expect Fabric is light, not easy to rip though. The pole frames are just as sturdy as I expected them to be. No they’re not carbon fiber, yes they’re just hard plastic, but so what. It’s more than strong enough to hold up the fabric canopy and flexible enough to sway with the wind. For all the reviews that claim that it fles away in the wind… well of course it’ll fly away in the wind!! It’s a huge ultra light weight umbrella! It’s your responsibility to (1) stake it into the sand, (2) fill the sand pouches, AND (3) use the guy lines and secure them in with sand augers (does not come with tent); don’t forget to allow the lines to have some slack, if they’re too taught they’ll pull out the augers. If you think any beach tent will stay down in windy conditions alone, then you’re fooling yourself. And if you’re asking why the augers aren’t included the obvious answer is that it’ll make it too expensive to make it appealing to the average consumer. Take my advise, buy some augers so that you…
torn in the wind. We were very pleased with this product. It’s simple to get up and down. It provides adequate shade. But after 2 mornings of blowing in the beach wind, we noticed this tear. Needless to say, we were disappointed to discover this flaw.
