Time for a hot instead of chold shower Now I am ready to go do my camping. With this king camp solar shower. I will be able to have a warn shower instead of a cold shower. All I will have to do is fill the bag with water in the morning and hang it out in the sun to collect the heat. The black bag will absorb the heat and in the process warm the water that is inside of the bag. In the evening I then will be able to take my warm shower. Everyone will be jealous, specially the ones that will have to use the child river water. Once they see me with my warm shower. I know they will be asking to use it. But, they are going to have to get there own.
Good bang for the buck with some minor modifications Overall a good buy. There are a few items that you’ll want to know before you take it camping though. The spigot tends to spin inside the tube when you’re trying to twist it open to use. It makes it impossible to open the shower head (and a super big pain in the a$$ when you’re in the middle of the woods and the darn thing won’t open!) I put a few zip ties around it to tighten it and give you something to grip on. Once home, I put gorilla glue on the inside to make it extra secure. The little velcro straps at the bottom to keep the shower head from dragging on the ground tend to come undone frequently. Either glue or sew the velcro on the opposite side of the strap and it will stay put. You may want to get a longer tube too. It worked well for me, but trying to wash a 3 year old that is much closer to the ground was difficult. I can’t comment on how much it heated the water because we were in a very shady campsite and it was overcast. I won’t blame that on the shower. It says not to…
