Easy set-up, holds up to bad weather I recently got back from a two week road trip with this tent cot, having traveled the length and breadth of California. I’ve also taken it on a number of shorter camping trips, and it’s performed well every time. It’s quick to go up and come down, and I particularly appreciate that it doesn’t matter whether the ground is muddy since the only parts touching the ground are the feet. There are actually 3 things to review here… Like a previous reviewer, I set mine up in the living room the day I got it, and I’ll update this when I actually get into the woods, so these are just first impressions:Cot: This thing is built like a tank. Excellent design, easy to setup, very sturdy. And as a previous reviewer mentioned, it is about 22 inches off the ground (didn’t measure, just eyeballed it). Love this! I love this tent cot! I am a 76 year old camping lady…always camp alone. I was able to put it up with no problem. It is sturdy, and a comfortable distance off the ground, so easy to get in and out. I like the windows at each end for ventilation, with clever covers over the windows on the rain fly.
