(wasn’t comfortable, plus he still wets the bed sometimes and … I’d give this hammock ten stars if I could! My children spend HOURS each day playing on it. My initial idea for purchasing it was to use as a bed for my five year old. We have a weight bearing beam across our the ceiling in their bedroom so hanging it was as simple as using the hammock straps we had and clipping it up. While it didn’t work out as a bed, (wasn’t comfortable, plus he still wets the bed sometimes and I don’t really want to take it up and down each day to wash it, something I didn’t think of,) it is the best $25 I ever spent! I don’t think they’ve ever had a toy that they’ve spent so much time playing with for so many months. I’d say this is a bit small to be called a two person hammock, unless you’re an adult and a child.
It is very pretty. It is comfortable It is very pretty. It is comfortable, however it cocoons very easily It would be nice if there was some way to insert a spreader. I purchased it to replace the hammock that came with my portable stand. We had to do a lot of knot tying to make this cotton hammock fit in the stand. The hammock is sooooo stretchy that even hanging a few feet off the ground, it drops to the ground when you get in it. I think we finally got it tied tightly and highly enough that we can use it. Seems very sturdy. My husband and I got in it together.
