SLEEPING PAD RECOMMENDATIONS (NOT INCLUDED)
The hammock requires an inflatable sleeping pad. This is not included in the package, and it is currently not sold by us.
The sleeping pad helps you get the best possible sleep comfort as it stretches the fabric and it will help you stay warm.
We recommend using a large inflatable pad (approximately 65 x 197 x 9 cm or 25″ x 77″ x 3,5″).
Medium size pads (approximately 52 x 183 x 7 cm or 20″ x 72″ x 2,7″) also works perfectly well.
Inside the hammock you have a pocket for each length which holds the sleeping pad in place.
For those who need to buy a new sleeping pad we have a few recommendations:
Exped: SynMat 9 LW, DownMat 9 LW and SynMat 7 LW
Big Agnes: Air Core LW, Insulated Air Core LW and Q-core LW
Therm-a-Rest: BaseCampTM AF, Large

Alien technology. Just came back from a weekend camping with my 14 year old. He was in an ENO and I was using my brand new, alien technology hammock. The AMOK (yes all in caps cuz it is awesome) is ridiculous. I probably sold 3 more this weekend from friends that climbed in to give it a test ride. As a belly sleeper and this hammock made that happen. First night of sleep I have had in a Hammock EVER. Comfortable and can be. One of the people to test out the hammock was a 6’3″ guy and this hammock…
He didn’t feel comfortable. It’s a neat idea but my husband was too tall for it at 5 feet 11 inches his head touched the top and feet tight in foot box. He didn’t feel comfortable.
Amok Draumr 3.0 hammock and tarp This was worth every penny! I’ve been hammock camping for over two yrs now and love it. (Easy clean up and off the ground) But I still couldn’t get a full nights sleep due mainly to being mostly a side and belly sleeper. The first time out in this I slept 9hrs and only woke up once because of a thunder storm and the heavy rain that came with it. I didn’t even get wet having the rain fly a bit high. I can even go to ground if I need to having my pad. Like any new gear there is a learning curve…
