The company sent me a new light for free and it works perfectly! My initial review is below but I wanted to update that to include that the company sent me a new lantern and refunded my money as the product I received was damaged. The new lantern works perfectly and I am very impressed with the company’s attention to customer satisfaction.I took this little lantern up to my tiny cabin hoping for a good overhead light since we have no electricity. I put in brand new high power batteries before use. It was a cute little lantern and boy did I want it to work, but one whole side of the LEDs never came on and the light did not flood the cabin as I had hoped, instead it just lit up a very small area where we put it on a table. Not worth the price for me, but the product was defective upon initial use. Unfortunately, I could not return it as we need to keep some type of light in the cabin and it’s not worth hauling it back to return. Disappointed.

Rugged, attractive and much better than oil lamps! It’s attractively designed and just down right “cute.” My wife accidentally knocked it off the counter, but I put in the batteries and it worked fine with no marks. We live in “tornado alley” and I’m keeping this in the safe room that we have. We frequently get tornado warnings, and I wanted something that would provide fairly even illumination but be small. I can put our oil lamps away now as I always keep plenty of batteries at hand down there. I tried it and hung it from a hook and it is perfect for our needs rather than having a couple flashlights. It will also be useful for power outages. I’m very happy with it and it’s priced right. It uses three AA batteries which is much preferable to the three AAA that I’ve had in some LED flashlights. It’s not meant to light up a big room but would be adequate in a tent or on a card table.
