Quick set up, withstands downpours, very warm with rainfly on. I took this tent on a solo back country fly fishing trip in the NC mountains, Pisgah National Forest, just below the Appalachian trail. The weather was in the mid 80’s, very humid, and we had frequent thunderstorms with torrential downpours. Throughout the weather everything remained dry and while insects sought cover under the fly they did not make it inside the tent itself. In warm weather like this the heat generated inside the tent with the fly up can be overwhelming. I really recommend…
So far so good I just purchased this product as a second backpacking solo tent and so far so good. Assembly is incredibly easy, literally should take less than two minutes for anyone with any prior tent set up experience. The weight is as described, I put it on the scale and it came in at 57oz. ie., 3.56 pounds. Materials seem ok. Donât know yet about durability, but will update after my next backpacking trip later this fall. Also canât comment on how waterproof it is yet, but I will say that my standard…
Good quality at a reasonable price. Only slept in it once. Bought it for a October hike out west. It was roomy for a one person tent. The directions were poor, but once I figured it out it was an easy setup.I believe I can set it up in under five or six minutes.I left it set up to see how it would stand up to thunderstorms. It went through 2 of them with no issues at all.It seems to be worth the cost. I will know more after my two week trip.
