Finally, the solution to side sleepers in the wilderness! What an amazing cot. First of all it weighs 3.33lbs packed not 3.00lbs as advertised. However, I doubled up the rods all the way down the cot and was able to remove 4 green feet which reduces the weight by 0.33lbs exactly so this works for me. Me + dog exceed weight limit. Still worked. I picked this up knowing me and my sleeping gear would not exceed the 200lb weight limit. I did not consider that my dog would want to join me. After 3 nights, a few of the feet had slightly deformed. I assume this was due to exceeding the weight limit and uneven weight distribution.As a side sleeper, this was the most comfortable I’ve been in a tent.This cot may not last as long if we continue to exceed the weight limit but I’m not going to kick my dog off the cot. Worked good. I’m 5’8″ and 175 lbs Worked good. I’m 5’8″ and 175 lbs. I tested it out before going camping. While sitting in it, my butt was touching the ground. But I then laid in it and had my wife slide her hand underneath. Had maybe about 2 fingers clearance. Worked absolutely fine while camping. I was on a bit of an incline.
