THE BEST SURVIVAL KIT ON AMAZON The best survival kit! Here is why. The knife included. It is the star of this show. The knife alone is a $30 knife, I actually love this knife more than my Gerber Bear Grylls knife. The Weyland knife has a much better blade shape. The Gut Hook is very sharp and great for hunters. Fine for the price Knife while sheethed doesn’t fit in it’s box. The compass is sturdy, the hand saw is average and good for now. The little card multi tool is cool to look at but mediocre at best and for me just a paper weight, may as well add a foldable multi tool and replace it. The blanket is a cool feature. The box itself is cheap as expected and not water tight if you were wondering. The aimable signel mirror is a nice touch and seems sturdy enough, better than many I’ve seen. And the fire starter is okay…
For the price point it makes a good kit to add to your car. It has most of what you want in a emergency prepared kit. I wouldn’t use it for an EDC but it works great for my wife’s car and in a budget 72 hour kit. My only suggestion would be to add a basic fishing kit I.E. line weights and hooks. Everything else worked. The knife was sharp and the compass worked.
