It has its purpose! This water port has its specific function. The directions say only put about 85% water in it to make room for pressure. It’s tough estimating when looking into the black abyss of the water fill. I also put hot water in it for a shower and something when wrong with the pressure. It started spurting and it lost pressure. So you have to make sure the fittings are tight even after you put them on for each use. Fun for small trips 2 Convenient to do dishes and wash your hands during camp- I personally wish it had more water capacity that can last me at least 3 days camping- would not recommend to shower, do dishes etc in one full tank unless you have a clean water source near you- but it can work just fine individually for all the scenarios mentioned above. Otherwise great little water source- some water connections have plastic ends- it makes me think that they can easily give in if(break if not handled properly)
