Allows dutch oven cooking in the rain I am a dutch oven cook fanatic. I use them in fishing and hunting camps as well as on a regular basis for home cooking. The limits on dutch ovens is they don’t work well in high wind and don’t work at all in rain. Wind and rain are regular contitions in my Alaskan hunting and fishing camps. Turns your den wood stove into an oven! This is very heavy – heavier than the other one for sale. It folds up flat and tucks away in a drawer until needed again. Handy loop near the top. I bought this for a different purpose though…
Good quality cover! Love the grill, love the cover! Does get way hotter than you think it might. Get some welders gloves or something.
