Hurricane Irma I bought these lanterns a few days before Irma blew through Southwest Florida. Eight days and nights without power. You can’t imagine how hard it is to see inside during the day with hurricane shutters up. Night time was even worse. We have used these lanterns non-stop with the recommended Amazon C batteries and they were superb! Best prep item I have ever bought. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because the hanging features doubled with the light output demands it.
A genuine winner as for price, quality, and function. Cheap cheap price on a very high quality led lantern. Really like the feature it does not have: a flashing led light to wear the batteries down when off. Provides an amazing amount of light, enough to light up a good size room. Obsoletes the old double mantle stinky white gas powered lanterns. Compact and attractive. Extremely well engineered product. Can not think of any negative thing to say. GET ONE!
Adjustable brightness in different modes I like the feature to adjust the brightness of the lantern in different modes. You will get whatever brightness you need. Camping becomes easy with it. You just hang it to the top of your tent, then enjoy your night.
