Pounds ’em in, without your pack taking a pounding! Now HERE’S a product I absolutely adore! Did the Trick for Me I have a set of MSR Groundhog stakes and the instructions say to push the stakes into the ground with your hand. These instructions may work at some campsites. However, where I live in the South, there’s thin layer of topsoil and then clay and gravel below. Depending on the spot, pushing by hand isn’t an option, so I used this mallet. It is strong and light and works like a charm.
