Most Awesome Tent – Better than the Stingray in my humble opinion. Best tent I ever owned! I like the Vista better than the Stingray because I can remove the bug mesh and just use the fly when I’m camping where the bugs aren’t. With the Stingray, removing the mesh isn’t an option and that just isn’t acceptable. I think Tentsile quit making the Vista, which is sad. It really is a great tent!
Cool product but not for everyone Fun product but not very intuitive if you are not a handy. I’m not a nature person but i thought it would be fun for the kids in the backyard. Took me about 2-3 hours to get this up. Had to order extra straps since my trees were spaced apart. 1 adult and 2 kids could sleep comfortable but could not keep it from sinking. Again was probably me but no clue how people got these things 10 feet off the ground like on the youtube videos.
Directions written like idealized ad copy. The triangle hammock is nice. The kids love it. I got the tent too hoping I would not need to take it down when it rains. The tent is horribly designed. The directions are an artist’s rendition of how the sales department thinks you should feel about setting it up. There are more misleading pictures and text than helpful info in the directions for the tent. Spend an hour or two watching the videos on the company web site before setting up the tent. Never do this with 4 to 8 years olds waiting…
