Operation:
✅ For Lantern mode, spread the lampshade by grabbing both ends of the lantern.
❌ Do not twist when extending the lampshade.
❌ Do not extend lampshade by grabbing the handle; the handle is only designed for hanging the unit.
✅ For Flashlight mode, collapse back down and allow for unit to “click” in place.
✅ Press On/Off button to switch brightness modes.
✅ Charge by solar power by having the solar panel face the sunlight .
✅ Charge from USB by connecting 5V cord with V8 USB port, indicator will glow.

… on backpacking trips and this one is definitely my favorite by far I’ve had experience with a few of these types of lamps on backpacking trips and this one is definitely my favorite by far! The round shape and hard plastic make it easy to pack. I also used the loop connected to a carabiner on bag for solar charging during day hikes.I recently returned a GoalZero unit back to REI because it weighed 1+ lbs and didn’t hold its charge. For the same amount spent – I could get a few of these, lighten up a larger area, and lighten my pack.
Candles are nice when available With winter coming, I bought 2 to try when the power goes out. Candles are nice when available, but in a pinch, candles only add to the woes of no power. I keep my lights easily available and in the sun.
Great to have for camping or for emergencies and so affordable! This lantern is great and puts off quite a bit of light! Obviously the fact that it’s solar powered is great, but also having the ability to charge a cell phone with enough juice to make an emergency call makes this product even better! We have slowly been converting our battery powered camp/emergency lights to solar and the price of this lantern makes that so much easier! We left the lantern out during the day to soak up the sun and this little light stayed lit all night.
