User Manual:
1.Find the On/Off switch underneath the lid,and turn it on. Automatically turn ON/OFF by light sensor(Build-in the Lid), the light will turn ON when the dark,and the light will turn OFF when the daytime.
2.If the lights not bright, please put the lid under the sunny for recharging first.
3.Screw on the lid with your mason jar,hung it anywhere you like,suggest under the direct sunlight.
4.The insert and lid can be take apart for DIY,such as put the solar string lights insert for other something which you want.

Let There Be Light! Alright, time for a moment of honesty: I’m an idiot. After carefully putting these solar lids on some 8 oz jam jars I bought from my local grocer for $5, I proceeded to get increasingly indignant as I found that these lights only worked upside-down! Had I been scammed? No. It dawned on me that these lights apparently have better sensors than I do; they only worked upside down because that was the only time I had my hand covering the sensor and—ta-da! Let there be light. Flip it right side up…
Not for wide mouth jars. GREAT customer Service I bought these because they stated they fit wide mouth jars in the description. These do not. I am keeping them and using them ONLY because I havery several standard mouth jars. The battery is good and lasts all night. And will be or ding more for the remaining standard mouth jars I have. This would be a glowing 5 star review had the description been accurate. These are brighter than other brands too! See my photo of the narrow mouth vs wide mouth in the dark!
