Made of 9Cr18MoV steel with an attractive hardcase black finish, the 3.4-inch partially serrated, folding blade has a clip point shape that allows a quicker and deeper puncture upon insertion and makes quick work of any task. New pocket clip design is poor and broke after only a couple months. Old knife that is years old still has pocket clip, no issue I liked this knife enough I ordered it again. The first one I had for several years. The last one I ordered in Dec 2015. Here’s the reason I like it enough to own a second time but only give it 3 stars. The pocket clip is of a different design that what is shown in the pictures. After having the new knife for only three months the belt clip has broken off. This is due to a larger opening for the revised SOG outline on the clip. When the old one got snagged while in my pocket it never bent out…
Mediocre/good, WOULD buy again. Decent knife; you get what you pay for. This is going to ride around in my car in case I ever need to help someone out in an accident; it’s not my EDC and no where near the quality of the butterfly’s that I do carry. However, It has a nice grip, will no doubt function well as a glass breaker and/or seatbelt cutter. Serrated blade is nice to have too.
Great quality knife Great quality knife… Comes sharp as a razor… The seatbelt cutter blade should be on an angle in my opinion but still works… Contrary to what people say it is NOT a line cutter… It can be used for that but it is described on the box as a SEAT BELT cutter… Glass break also works like a charm. Great pricing on Amazon…
