Heavier but very nice when it said light weight I thought it was super light but it actually has some weight to it. Perhaps about 1lb.The material is nice and not the thin type. it is the sturdy type that would resist moisture. I like the stakes that come with it so I could secure it. Color may be a bit bright for outdoor as it is a bright blue. but overall a great size, and a nice pocket to put it in. Great for a quick getaway or a backyard camping.
Great Steaks! The first thing I noticed about this is the steaks are bigger than they appear in the pictures. By their size I know they will work fine to secure the mat on each corner and you get a couple extras just in case you lose one in the sand. I don’t have plans to go to the beach for an extended stay until August but sometimes we go on a whim so I wanted to go ahead have it. We usually sit on beach towels. Between all the bulky beach towels and the sand getting everywhere when you try to shake them…
Lightweight Blanket Love this! It won’t add much weight to your suitcase and is easy to carry around.We left the pegs at home when we took it Mexico as we weren’t sure they would be allowed in hand luggage. It wasn’t a problem, just used bags to weigh it down. There are also pockets in the corners that you can fill with sand or pebbles.
