Great for hiking and compact fishing, sturdy. I really like this little rod. I use it mainly as a compact rod for backpacking trips and fishing spots I have to hike in to. Honestly upon first receiving it I was worried about how sturdy the “rod” portion of this would be, but as it turned out it can really take some force without breaking. I have used this on multiple occasions in mountain streams and rivers, and a little on some lakes over the last year or so. Keep in mind this is a short compact rod, so don’t expect to be getting…
