Recommend to anyone looking for an overall hunting knife These are great knives. Have used one for the last 3 years for field dressing deer. The blade is sturdy and sharp, and keeps its edge. Love the flat end on the handle. We use this primarily to split the pelvis. If it won’t split with the blade and point, we use the saw on the blade to take care of it. Bought two more of these knives to give as gifts. Sheath is above average in quality. If you take care of the blade, this knife will last a lifetime.
Great Knife. Perfectly as described. I had to sharpen mine when I got them, but I expect that’s pretty normal and definitely not an issue. The handle is robust and feels good in my hand. The blade is robust and feels meaty. I could definitely use this as utility or for defense. I put one in each of my bugout bags and would recommend them.
Great Knife for a New Hunter I ordered this knife for my son as a Christmas present. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is simply because he hasn’t used everything that the knife comes with, yet. We recently moved to one of our family farms to help out my dad and my son uses this knife pretty regularly for different chores. It hasn’t had to be sharpened and it seems very sturdy. He also takes it with him when he hunts. He’s fairly thin and quite tall but this knife isn’t super heavy and it doesn’t weigh his belt down. He…
