The Simple Shower is a specially designed portable shower that attaches to just about any one or two liter bottle to convert them into a shower. No longer will you have to lift a solar shower filled with 20 or 40 pounds of water above your head to take a shower while camping – simply fill a plastic 1 or 2 liter bottle with warm water, or leave the bottle in the sun to heat up, and attach the Simple Shower for a quick and easy shower. It also fits Platypus collapsible bottles and bladders. At only 2 ounces, it’s ideal for backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, hunting, camping, emergencies, cleaning pets, washing utensils, at the beach, and anywhere else a steady stream flow shower can be used.

Perfect bottle for simple shower This simple shower is a a fantastic product. I have used it with 2 liter bottles but found it a pain. So I decided to look at my nearby store and found a bottle that worked really well with the simple shower and it has a handle. It’s an AJAX triple action dish soap bottle (2.66 liter). It did cost around $5 – $6. Now I don’t have to tear up my arm and wrist trying to use this simple shower with those pesky 2 liter bottles. I’m gonna spray paint this bottle black so I can fill it up, leave it…
An added bonus I didn’t realize when I bought it This ingenious contraption not only fits standard 1- and 2-liter drinking water bottles (comes with 2 different “hoses” or straws), but it ALSO fits regular-sized juice bottles. The inside of the connector has screw threads to fit drinking water bottles, but the OUTSIDE of that same connector has ribs, which will allow you to push it into the larger mouth 1.5 liter OJ (etc) bottles. We don’t have drinking water bottles, but we’ve got plenty of juice bottles, which are more sturdy anyway…
Super convenient and has tons of uses This is one of those “duh, why didn’t I think of that” products. Turn those ubiquitous botttles into showers. Great! No more messing with shower bags, which while I love ’em, are hard to fill (In fact I often resorted to using soda bottles to do that). Although the water coming out isn’t at high pressure, the fact that you can hold it close to the areas you’re rinsing makes up for that. And this has the added benefit that the water doesn’t get a chance to cool as much.
