Great pump, reliable filtration though a little slow. I’ve used this filter on a couple of different backpacking trips. Usually 3 or 4 night trips in national parks where streams are plentiful and relatively clean.
I have nothing but great things to say about it Having just used this for a week long trek in the high Sierra Mountains, I have nothing but great things to say about it. It’s easy to use, lightweight, compact, and its included Nalgene bottle adapter helped to simplify filling in awkward places, and the sanitary cover helped keep it clean. trouble getting it to prime I hate writing this review because I really want to like the filter. I have used my buddy’s PUR Hiker filter several times in the past and I have an in- bottle. I bought this filter to use on a 5 day canoe camping trip with my family. I thoroughly read the directions prior to using the filter.
