Great Knife with Sheath I received the Mossy Oak fixed blade knife and was surprised. It was much larger than I expected, but the size and weight makes this perfect for my use (in my Jeep survival kit). The knife was packaged very well as shown in my photos. GREAT SURVIVAL KNIFE. I received this knife a few days ago SHARP right out of the box. Touched it up with my strop but it wasn’t necessary. Very neatly packaged and was ready to try in area around my home which is very wooded, on a inlet from the Chesapeake Bay. A really good knife even at triple the price. Well this is just a fantastic buy. At $14.99 including shipping? WTF? The knife is indeed large. I measured the blade on it, and it’s 8.75 inches long, 6.24 mm thick at the spine, and 1.25 inches wide at the ricasso. I have a very powerful magnet and confirmed it is indeed a full tang knife. The lanyard hole is pierced into the tang. The false edge is as thick as many of my bushcraft knives’ blades, so I see no reason you can’t baton with it well.
