Given the PackLite Max Phone Charger’s charging ability and expanded lighting area, it is an ideal lantern for family and RV campers. It provides over 150 lumens of bright LED light on Turbo mode and can run for up to 50 hours on Low mode when fully recharged. It recharges via solar power in 12-14 hours of direct outdoor sunlight or by USB input in 1-2 hours. The 5V USB output port will give your phone a 75-100% battery boost in 2-4 hours depending on your type of phone. It measures 6″ x 6″ x 6″ when inflated and packs down to 1″ thick. I started with the earlier models and loved them so much that I bought 3 of this … I started with the earlier models and loved them so much that I bought 3 of this model for Christmas presents. This morning I ended up needing to leave the house very early for the whole day without my phone charged up. Remembered the LuminAID at the last minute. Amazing! Plugged in my phone and while using navigation it charged more than 50% in one hour. Great addition to the emergency kit and great for everyday uses. Love that the company has good social responsibility practices, too.
Super light, portable, and useful when you can’t leave that device behind! These things are great. I have 2 of them, plus a couple of older models. Great for emergencies and for backpacking. Charges phones well, Depending on how sunny, it can take a bit to recharge, but i self-charge mine before i go, just in case.
Luminaid charger/lantern is great! This product grabbed my attention on Kickstarter. It is a glorious idea for outdoors people and the Third World. Even though I’m neither I had to have one. I keep it as a backup charger, and I also travel with it so I always have a hotel room bathroom night light. Perfect! It is slightly bulkier than a battery backup, but so worth it for it’s versatility. Bravo!
