I wanted a simple light to use at night so I don’t have to turn on a bright light or keep a sleep-disturbing nightlight burning at night to avoid tripping over one of my dogs. 2. Don’t bother, nowhere near as bright as the description claims These were in my house all of about 30 minutes before they were repackaged for return. The description states that they will light up an entire campsite, what a joke. I received them, opened up the box, put brand new batteries in one of the lights and turned it on. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I could not use this as a night reading light if I held the light six inches from the page.
