The button to turn it on/off is on the back. You cycle through the functions by pressing it multiple times.

Love this product Love this product. It is perfect for camping and the battery backup for our iPhones and iPads works very well. Built-in USB cable is a great idea. No more lost charging cables. BUT….This is also the likely point of failure for this product. Pull on the USB cable too much and it will likely break. Without the ability to charge the unit, it would be rendered useless.
Love it! Bought another! This works perfectly for my needs. The light switch for the light in the hood over my stove broke, so I’m using this instead of paying for an electrician’s visit.
