With a two stage filter system, water taste and clarity are enhanced, while removing harmful bacteria, chemicals, metals, sediments, and other contaminants. Built to exceed the standards of the EPA, the dual filter system boasts an activated charcoal filter and a hollow fiber ultra-filtration membrane filter. Activated charcoal removes heavy metals, such as iron and lead, while absorbing the dirty taste of water. Additionally, it removes unseen chemicals and improves the clarity of water. The hollow fiber filter works through size exclusion. Dozens of tubes have microscopic holes (0.1 microns), which allow clean water to pass and creates a barrier to 99.999% of damaging bacteria, Giardia, E. coli, protozoan cysts, Cryptosporidium, and more. Very durable jerrycan perfect for campouts This jerry can was surprisingly high quality. I was expecting something like the basic red gas can in my garage, but this is much more thick and much higher quality. The plastic has a nice texture and is a strong thickness. I took a picture of the top peering into the inside, if you look closely you might be able to tell that the can is reinforced in the center. Thats to keep the can from expanding when over pressurized. It makes the can super durable though. My kid was standing on it and it…
Great for Boondocking I would give 4.5 stars. Works great, very clean water, but the seal around the pump handle is difficult to get very tight. Air escapes with each pump rendering water flow slower than it should be. However, if I wet the seal it works much better.All in all a great water system for boondocking.
***5 STARS!!!!! We had purchased this to have when we go out on long side by side rides. We had put it to use this weekend while out on a ride. I was so pleased with the overall product. It has some great features to it that I was very happy with: first, the filters, the size of it (it’s not too big but not to small either, its that perfect medium size), I was please with the gravity flow and how we were able to sit it up and put the water up!
