High quality. The 7″ blade is made with 420 stainless steel and comes very sharp – sharper than most Hori Hori knives. It is built to be extra-strong, with the knife extending all the way through the knife handle (“full tang”) so the knife blade cannot snap off. The handle is secured with 3 rivets for extra strength. The blade is curved for easy digging, and it even includes measurements to help you plant your seedlings and bulbs at the correct depth.
Leather Sheath The bonded leather sheath will last for years with minimum maintenance.
Free sharpening stone. We even include a bonus sharpening stone to keep the knife edge sharp on the go.
Eco-friendly. The knife handle is made with FSC-certified hardwood, which means that the Forest Stewardship Council has certified that the wood in this handle was sustainably harvested. No other Hori Hori knife on Amazon can say this.
Great gift! The Truly Garden Hori Hori knife makes a great gift. It’s something any gardener could use, and it comes in a beautiful gift box.
Campers, Too! This is also a great gift for campers, backpackers, and people who enjoy metal detecting, treasure hunting or any outdoor activity.
Guaranteed. Enjoy peace of mind with a 30 day money-back guarantee, plus a five year manufacturers’ warranty.

Tough, well made gardening knife. This is an amazing tool for the money. It’s very sturdy. Be aware of a few things before you buy:1) The blade is crooked, angled from the handle. This shouldn’t affect function in any way but annoys my OCD sensibilities. It sprang back to its original position when bent just past 30° so I guess I’ll just have to get used to it.2) The sheath is not what I’d call leather. If it is technically leather then it’s the leather equivalent of particle board. That said, the sheath is well…

great weeder, could be improved I bought it with buckhorn plantain in mind. I had been using a weeder that looked like a wide screwdriver with a notch in the end. I’d have to pinch and pull a weed so hard that my fingers quickly got sore. The Hori Hori slides in more easily. It cuts more roots so I don’t have to pull hard. I can work faster and keep at it indefinitely. That weed was soon hard to find in my yard.Dallisgrass is worse. It’s hard to find an herbicide that will kill it selectively. It can make a lawn…

Landscape Nightmare Has Met Its Match I love this gardening tool. I never knew how much I needed it! This is now my number one weapon to use in my battle with a free range, out of control landscaping nightmare. One can have too much of a good thing! I have inherited a landscape with one specimen of every known plant in the entire northern hemisphere left to grow wild. Now I bravely draw the Hori Hori Garden Knife from its sheath and enter the yard with new found courage. In my battle I have destroyed all of our kitchen knives,…
