Thanks Golden Eagle for such an amazing product at an unbelievable price! Used this tarp this weekend (scattered thunderstorms all weekend long) on my hammock set up. I was so dry under this tarp that I had all my gear spread out under it while it was downpouring and everything stayed dry. It’s much larger than my other hammock tarps (that’s a great thing) and I truly love the guy line pockets it has built in. The stakes are very light and strong (must be something other than aluminum, i’m guessing).
Good customer service Used my 2 tarps once. Appear to be decent quality. Unfortunately, while out on the trail I opened one of the tarps for the first time and it was missing 2 guylines so it was left flapping. I recommend opening your tarp and inspecting it before you’re stuck out on a trail without all the pieces. I contacted Golden Eagle directly who explained they cannot work with me directly since sold through amazon. All I requested was 2 lines that should have been included to begin with. Good Tarp, Excellent Price I purchased this tarp specifically for an overnight yakpacking adventure on the Buffalo River. Opted for two day shipping via USPS and it was right on time. All listed items were included with the packaging. All items seemed to be of good quality upon initial inspection. Once I made it onto the river and tried to set up camp, the tarp was by far the easiest piece to put together. The attached cords and their pockets make finding everything a breeze during setup.
