good with some bad Good for the $20 it works fine. Out of the box it is sharp as a razor. It fits in hand great and blade deployment is smooth. Blade was centered perfect and the edge is even. Not a big fan of the rubber grips but they are ok. Ill have to wait and see how they hold up. There are nicks and little dents in various areas and one grip screw was stripped. I will have to take it apart and clean it since the inside of the liners are dirty. How does that happen when it is a sealed package? The liner lock…

I’m part of the Gerber family now! Love this knife it was exactly what I was looking for I’m only buying gerber folders from now on the handle is a textured durable rubber, won’t tear up your hand and is firmly stuck in your hand. Weight is perfect the sheathe allows for standard and even scout carry. Blade is razor sharp cut a lot of hair off my forearm right out of the box! XD I love it! It is extremely secure and snug in the sheathe but a lanyard should make it easy to yank out if you have to.

I liked my previous Gerber so well I bought another Gerber The handle is thicker and more heavy than my Bear Grylls Gerber knife is have carried for a few years. I dont mind the little added weight or thickness but felt I should mention it. I foresee this knifes handle will out last my Bear Grylls, since it doesn’t have a rubber coated handle that can start to peel away after a lot of use.I personally like a knife with a blade release on the back of lower handle like my Bear Grylls knife but I can adapt over.
