less expensive than others A little cheaper than the Camco version and I can only guess it works like it’s supposed to.

Threads don’t hold hose securely after one month of use I used one filter for less than one month and the threads eventually did not work to keep the hose attached to the filter. After changing the washer and adding plumbers tape, this didn’t resolve the problem and later walked outside to find water pouring out because the hose had separated from the filter.

Broken before I could sample filtration quality Not the best experience, a lot more black flush from these than other charcoal filters I’ve used, can’t speak for longevity either as the end broke off under the weight of a pressure regulator when dropped to the ground from a kneeling position. So the second one in the pack is a backup, or just give it to someone else at a campsite that might have forgotten to bring one
