Love these lights! Boy, was I surprised when I received these, opened the box, installed the required batteries & raised the light up to see a brilliant bright light. Actually I was more than surprised. I had been telling my wife that we needed to find something we could get that would replace all the candles we have for when our power goes off & it goes off quite a bit here. And what a hassle it is to have to pull all the candles down, find the lighter & light all the candles. With these guys, you simply pull the top straight up using the fold-able handles & wham..you have light! And no switch to have to feel around for in the dark. Additionally it doesn’t put off just a warm light, but a bright set of LED lights. I highly recommend these lanterns to anyone for any use since they are great small lantern-type lights at a great price!.
Great emerceny lights! I purchased these for emergency lights during our hurricane season emergency readiness kit. They are a bargain for this task. I tried them out once I received them and they are bright enough for our small 550 SF apartment. I purchased 4, one for our bedroom, living room, kitchen & bathroom. These units are rated at 100 lumen, just bright enough for our use. If you rely on very bright light, you should look for other models with higher lumen ratings. You can’t beat the price of these and the way they fold into a compact unit. These are perfect for storing for emergencies. I’ll update on the units longevity if anything fails. These are listed for indoor use only and should not be used in the rain.
