Quality was not as good as I expected Sent back. It is Not up and down as easy as I thought it would be. Maybe the more one uses it, the easier it would get. The first time I set up the tent the anchor eyelet on top pole tore off. The sand bag anchor material is way to thin and started to rip. Do not adjust position of tent with sand in them. After it was set up I was concerned about the durability of this, the seams seemed to be not quite up to par and over time I could see some failing.. Will order another brand and see…
Pole broke on first set up We were setting it up the first time in living room, before taking it to the beach. Pulling the cords needed some strength. I was pulling harder gradually since unsure what was going to happen. The poles are under lots of tension. Some of the poles twisted and the instructions said to pull them straight, so while trying to straighten, a rear pole snapped at the hinge. Taking it down, I was being extra careful esp since one pole already broke. There are poles labeled for taking it down…
Only complaint is we will have to put stronger velcro closures on the windows as we spent a good deal of time re-velcroing them so the wind wouldn’t … We spent the coldest weekend of the year in sub zero wind chills at the beach in Delaware (already planned trip), and with this tent we were able to spend significantly more time actually on the beach as it blocked out the wind quite well. Only complaint is we will have to put stronger velcro closures on the windows as we spent a good deal of time re-velcroing them so the wind wouldn’t get in.
