It was my understanding that the tent was good in winds up to 35 MPH This tent was 2 weeks old when it suffered a broken fiberglass support rod. The rod actually split the entire length of the rod. It was my understanding that the tent was good in winds up to 35 MPH. This was in my yard and was subject to a gust of 16 MPH. This type of thing can happen and all I wanted was the company to send me a replacement rod which they refused to do because “the failure was due to nature”. “Mansion of Tents” I can’t say enough good things about this tent! When we went camping, our friends called it the “Mansion of Tents” and they were right.SIZE: It states that it’s a 6-person tent but we could have easily fit 6 people comfortably and still have walking space.
