Keep the fun going into the night after the fire goes out with the Coleman Sundome Elite 6-Person Tent with LED Lighting System. Featuring a built-in LED lighting system that delivers soft overhead lighting with 3 settings, this camping tent lets campers read, set up their sleeping bags, and study trail maps from the comfort of their tent. The family tent is spacious enough to fit 2 queen-size airbeds. Great for camping in warm weather, this outdoor tent features large windows and a ground vent to help move warm air up and out, keeping you comfortable. If the weather turns, the WeatherTec System with patented welded floors and inverted protected seams helps ensure you stay dry. A rainfly with an integrated door awning helps keep rain from getting inside the tent, while the durable Polyguard fabric is made to withstand the elements for reliable use season after season. Built-in storage pockets help keep your gear organized, while an E-Port makes it easy to bring electricity into the tent. The Coleman Sundome Elite 6-Person Tent with LED Lighting System sets up in only 10 minutes thanks to snag-free continuous pole sleeves, so you can spend more time enjoying the outdoors. It packs away compactly in the included expandable carry bag that lets you tear away the rip strip for easy packing.Roomy enough for the whole family, the Coleman Sundome 6 tent sleeps up to six people at a time in complete comfort. The two-room Sundome 6 is outfitted with Coleman’s exclusive WeatherTec system, a series of technical features intended to protect you from inclement weather and nasty storms.

The tent’s LED ceiling light includes high, low, and nightlight settings. WeatherTec tents are built with a coated polyester fabric combined with anti-wicking thread, webbing, and zippers, all designed to keep you dry when the rain comes down. The tent’s welded waterproof floor and inverted floor seams, meanwhile, dramatically increase the water resistance by hiding the needle holes inside the tent and away from the elements. In fact, Coleman is so confident in its WeatherTec system that it exposes its WeatherTec tents to a rain room that simulates nasty downpours, and to a wind machine capable of blowing hurricane force gusts. The results? Even after the tests, Coleman guarantees its WeatherTec tents will keep you dry.

The Sundome 6’s interior is notably spacious, with a base that measures 12 feet by 10 feet and a center height of 72 inches–plenty of headroom for most people. In addition, the tent is engineered to keep you cool thanks to the adjustable Variflo ventilation and vented Cool-Air port. Best of all for travel-weary campers, the Sundome 6 sets up quickly, with two shock-corded steel poles, continuous pole sleeves, a pin-and-ring design, and InstaClip attachments. The tent even comes with a built-in LED ceiling light that runs for up to 22 hours on eight D batteries (not included). The light includes three settings: high, low, and nightlight.

Other features include self-rolling windows with no-see-um mesh screens; two doors (one hinged and one zipper); an electrical access port; an interior gear pocket; separate bags for the tent, poles, and stakes; and easy-to-follow instructions sewn into the durable carrying bag.

The tent sleeps up to 6 people in its 120-square-foot footprint. Specifications

About Coleman
More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a “no light, no pay” clause–a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked–and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.

In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company’s current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won’t deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

BEWARE Replacement parts not available when poles break. I bought this tent about 1 1/2 years ago and have used it twice. The second time I used it, one of the poles was split down the middle. I am now planning another camping trip so I called the company to get a new pole. The woman on the phone was helpful and told me what part to buy. The part arrived, and it is not what I expected. It is a repair kit and it requires all sorts of tools like a hacksaw. Since I am not handy with tools, this won’t work for me. I called Coleman and told them that I…

Broken after three uses I bought this tent about a year and a month ago. I have used it three times and one of the poles split, just as another reviewer stated. My last Coleman tent lasted me a log time, so this is disappointing. The plastic for the light in my tent is also broken.**** Update: I contacted Coleman about the issue and even though the tent was out of warranty they are sending me a replacement tent. I buy most of my camping stuff from Coleman and it is great to know that hey value and take…

Great fair and warm weather tent Great fair and warm weather tent. Rain….NOT GOOD AT ALL. The blue bottom portion of the tent below the Rain Fly covering becomes soaked and water penetrates through and into the interior portion of the tent. If your going to being using this tent in any moisture environment, to include just a heavy morning dew, be prepared for at the very minumum for the interior walls to be damp and the tent to then need to be air dryed. I’ve even experienced this after further treating the material…
