Simple technology that works (mostly) and is worth the cost. Saves you from grabbing the wrong drink late at night. Great inexpensive idea for the cooler and keeps you from grabbing that cola when all you wanted was that last beer at the end of the night. For the price, don’t expect this to be super durable and last in the rugged outdoors. It is what it is, a simple ball bearing operated switch with a LED and directional diffuser for the light. Cheaply made junk When I received this item, I took it out of the package and tested it right away without sticking it to the inside lid of my ice chest. It only worked part of the time, sometimes lighting up when horizontal (when the light is supposed to be off) and sometimes off when turned vertically (when the light should be on) It was very hard to get the light to turn off once it was lit.
