Good basic water filter! Just got today. Has all the features I need. Lots of extra tubing as well. Should work fine for purification of river water. Would not use on muddy or murky water source as it would probably completely clog this filter.If that worse case scenario ever presented itself I would suggest trying to extract the water from the standing source into another container and first try to filter the larger debris through cloth then use this filter.That being said works great for my…
Not the sturdiest filter system or should it be your only system. Not the sturdiest filter system, but did everything it needed to. Worked well. I would NOT recommend this for long treks or long term camping or as the only filtration system in your pack. I did NOT have the filtered water lab tested.
Fast easy filtering Filters and pumps fast, easy to use, great if you are wanting to filter out sediment, the filter may not filter as finely as some other filters but for the Price it is good if you know what you are getting.
