The tarp is ok. The camo pattern, not so much As a tarp I think this would do an alright job. It looks to be built fiarly solid and I believe it is highly water resistant (although I didn’t test it). My issue is I needed camolauge (and paid $10 extra for it) because I plan on using this as part of a blind as well as a shelter half. However, the pattern is pretty crappy. It’s remmonocent of the old blotchy woodland pattern which would’ve been fine except the colors are so faded looking and subdued and close in shade you can barely see any…
High quality, versatile, first review First review:Upon receiving the 10×10 tarp and giving it a thorough examination, I am impressed with the quality of design and craftsmanship built into this item. It appears to be quite rugged and waterproof/resistant using ripstop nylon with an water barrier undercoating on the inner surface. I’ve checked all the sewn seams, including the reinforced centerline seam and all looks well. I believe I’ll apply a thin application of seam sealer along all the sewn threads, not to prevent…
Proof is in the Using With tarps the proof of quality is in the using. Reasonably priced at $45/ea. At a weight of 1 kilogram with stakes and lines, this is a bit heavy for a backpacking tarp. There are 8 reinforced eyelets, one at each corner and one at the middle of each side. Two more eyelets at each side or on two opposite sides would have made this more versatile. The short stakes and thin lines are a bit undersized for the 10×10 or larger tarp. This should work well in light wind or less and moderate rains…
