A must have tool! The quality of this product is amazing. This can not replace a heavy ax or very strong knife but for general camping itâs outstanding. The sharp edges are ground for durablity and are out of box razor sharp. This will be a great in my carâs emergency bag and my sailboat survival emergency equipment bag. Poor QC? Threading is a pretty loud when putting together/taking apart. My box didn’t have a flint rod at all. I thoroughly looked through the packaging and foam…nothing. I looked through the main Amazon box….nothing. There’s a cutout for where the flint rod goes…nothing there. The emergency glass breaker does not screw in flush. No instructions included, which let’s you depend on the Amazon product page, and common sense, for assembly.
Sections intended to be disassembled. The sections untighten pretty easily, so I used locktight on the one connecting to the axe head.
