great lanterns for camping and emergency uses These are super bright lanterns with the very convenient “open to turn on, close to turn off” feature. Where they excel over others I’ve used are 1) in the brightness level and 2) how the magnets on the bottoms allow them to be stuck on the side of a car or on a metallic surface such as a refrigerator. I’m keeping on in my car for late night tire changing, etc.
Excellent battery powered lanterns I love camping lanterns as they are such a useful thing to have in the house I tend to keep one in every room on the dresser or hanging in the closet, Each member of the family knows where the lantern is case of emergency or power outage. The lanterns came with six AA batteries. Three batteries are used per lantern as back up. The best thing about these lanterns are that they have a magnetic base which sticks to any metal surface such as lamp post, railings or car.
Great hurricane lanterns! These lanterns are PERFECT for a power outage. These are BRIGHT. I mean really bright. They light up a room with no problem, they turn on by pulling them open, and with the LED bulbs thereâs no heat at all generated, and the handles are perfect for hanging as well. Iâm not sure how long the three AA batteries will last, but the fact that they are included is great. When I go camping one of these are coming with me.
